Celebrate Memorial Day weekend…

The weekend begins today with our two girls spending some time with us.  Love it!  They go to 4-H camp all next week, with their parents along as chaperones.  I remember those days!!!

Saturday will be a bit of house cleaning, followed by dance recital in the afternoon.  Participants are Haley, Ansley and Macey.  Can you say “Kodak moment”?

Sunday we say so long to our great interim priest with a fine good-bye luncheon, then I’ll be doing food prep for our Monday party---hamburgers on the patio and a pontoon boat ride.

And remembering to pray for healing for Sarge during all these activities…and for strength for his Sweet Bee.

Show your red, white and blue colors this weekend.  So what are y’all doing?  Be safe…

Ciao Sandy!!!
My grandchildren have many events too: Tommy in the Church on Sunday, Agnese has on Tuesday Dance Recital (5 years classic dance!). I'll have my feast for 3/4 Century old years on 1st, Republic Day on 2nd....etc!!!
My thoughts are for Sarge and Bee!

Have a great week end with your family!!!

Sounds like you have a wonderful weekend planned, especially that boat ride. Just saying.

Sarge and Miss Bee are always in my prayers.

Have a terrific day and weekend honey. It's off to the boat for us. Big hugs. :)

Let's see, I'm taking Amanda to the train station Saturday afternoon so she can spend the weekend in NYC and then I'm going to work for 8 hours; on Sunday I'm going up to my Mom's for a cook-out with my brothers who will probably end up getting me stressed out about something; and then working a 16-hour shift on Monday before picking Amanda back up at the train station Monday night.

Probably doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun but it could be worse - I could be working the entire weekend!

What am I doing this weekend? Just got back from going w/you to the dance recital, 2 church services and a memorial service tomorrow, (and maybe a nap if the memorial doesn't take too long) then looking forward to a boat ride and cookout on Monday! Yay!
