Just another day in paradise...

These 5 deer decided that this side of the cove looked better than the other side, so they swam over to check it out...3 are next to the water's edge, one is a little farther to the R, and the other one is between the upper two green branches. Yes they are!

They stayed and walked around a bit. One is swimming in the water where that ripple is, while the second one was taking a drink before taking the plunge...
All 5 made it safely back to the other shore, then ran off to the woods for better pickings...

Happy Earth Day from Mayberry! Treat your Mother kindly, OK?

I love to watch deer. We were driving to the city (S.F.) and saw deer on the hillside. All that freeway traffic and there were the deer having their dinner. It was indeed beautiful.

Have a terrific earth day too. Big hug. :)

Happy Earth Day! Glad you captured those deer through your lenses. Can you believe it was 37 degrees on my way to work this morning?!?

Deer is one gorgeous critter which I have not seen at the Swamp, although I have seen them 5 miles away in the Pecan Orchard so I know they may saunter by one day!

Your mountains and cove is just gorgeous! Happy Earth Day!

Big Hugs xo

Deer are fun to watch, however I don't like to meet up with them on the road. They're up on our hill all the time...

Hubman and I would rather sit and watch the deer than go to a cocktail party! That's such a gorgeous area.
My BIL lives in Arkansas. My children were there visiting their grandparents and were at their uncle's house. A big buck comes sauntering through the property, and the kids are all excited about how neat and big he was, when my BIL got his shotgun and killed the poor thing. My kids never got over it.
I'm very glad your critters made it safely across the bay.
