Windy Thursday

Does anyone have a spare windmill? I am no expert, but if this park had a windmill, I know it would generate enough power to run this park and the whole neighborhood across the street! Sheesh. We are getting blown away, and there is no such thing as leaving our awning out. It is automatic, so when the wind gets too high (all day!), it retracts. We at least got smart and have a table umbrella that is anchored well, and it has those vent thingies up top so that the wind goes through it and it stays in place. Not that we've wanted to sit out on the patio much. Even so, our weather here is still better than it is in Mayberry, where we'll be by the end of the month. Time is flying, just like this wind!

Work got in the way of beading yesterday, so that is today's project. I hope I have everything I need...but if I don't, I'll just regroup and do something different. That's the fun of it!

Enjoy your day, y'all, especially Roger, who is 80-something today (Joy's dad). Love ya both...

Ciao Sandy!

I do not love the wind, our windows are very strong and we do not hear the wind!
It rains here and forecast says snow...it's horrible!
Hugs!!!

We have storm windows. It helps a lot with the heat and air bills. It's rare I have the perfect temperature for opening the windows! Now if it were just me, I'd have them open now, but my parents would freeze!

Happy Beading! Big hugs xo

Florida's weather has been better than Mayberry's weather, but not by much sometimes. Just saying.

Whatever you do today will surely be done with a smile. Just my figure.

Have a terrific day. We are off to the boat for a long weekend. Big hugs. :)

I hate wind! We get really bad dust storms that leave every thing looking so dry and dirty. I know that's why I love rain so much.
We are really close to a wind farm in Tehachapi - close to the Mojave desert. Since our AC bills were over $400 last summer, I don't know who they help!
I think Barb's right - let's all bead!

Dad was 89 yesterday, thanks for the mention of him - I will tell him about it. He isn't on his computer as much as he used to be.
Hope the wind abates and the temps warm up so you can enjoy being outside!
