Looking for lunch...

Cranes, ibis, and egrets are regular visitors around our park. I saw this guy (gal?) yesterday morning when I was out inspecting other patios, looking to find a pretty coating to top out our ugly patio. Dick finished up his patching yesterday, just ahead of today's rain, which promises to stay for a few days. Groan.

Thanks so much to everyone for the kind words of love and sympathy in the loss of my brother. We'll head to South Georgia Saturday for the service. We're not sure if we'll keeping going nawth afterward, or come back to WPB. There's lots to consider...and some of that has to do with the rain...and things left undone...people not seen...people expected...mail...Missy! Oh, the decisions! Remember when life was simple?

I'll go get another cup of coffee and think on that.

Ciao Sandy

What an elegant silouhette!!!

Oh, life was simple, now our families have so many tasks, obligations, appointments...
I hope you can decide what is better!

Hugs!

We always seem to have egrets here at the swamp, as well as some blue herons. I was always confused about which was an egret and which was a white heron, only to find out recently that an egret IS a heron.

We have a light, steady rain here, too. Yesterday was near about perfect, so I guess a light reain is OK.

Big hugs xo

HUGS... I love the birds in Florida. I miss the Anhingas... Loved watching them sit on the roadside with their wings open wide.

We see lots of these beautiful birds on the California Delta. They are indeed fun to watch.

You'll figure out what is right for you. Just do like Empress Bee said and drive carefully.

Super big hugs today honey. These are rocky times for you and I can feel it all the way here. :)

That bird is surely beautiful.
Travel safely, and we'll be happy to see you whenever you arrive home, whether sooner or later!
