Bunch of beaded baubles…

IMGP9054

This is how I spent yesterday afternoon. Not too bad, huh? I had someone in mind for each piece, so I am hoping the recipients like what I made for them. It was a good way to spend a windy afternoon. Missy was a big help…NOT. She did find a purple bead that she liked a lot and batted around. Purple is her color, I do believe.

The ear rings were a little tricky, but they’ll get easier as I keep trying. These were my first attempts, and I know I still have plenty to learn. Funny, but when I got in bed last night and was thinking about those ear rings, I thought of a better way to do it, so I’ll try that technique today. Why didn’t that thought arrive when I needed it???

So today I really should do a little house cleaning. Bleh…that’s so NOT rewarding for very long……………but it’s gotta get done and that job is mine. Dick does the ‘blue’ jobs…all that heavy duty, manly stuff. Like concrete. But he’ll take a turn at the vacuum if I ask him. He’s a sweetie.

At least today is sunny but chilly……..and not so windy. I hope that lasts awhile.

Enjoy your Friday, whatever you do. Just make sure you do something nice for someone today, OK?

I do that "better idea in my sleep" thing, too! I've often said some of my best thinkin' is when I'm sleepin'!

Lovely baubles! Hope Missy doesn't decide to taste one of them! Ack!

Big hugs xo

Oh, I read a cookbook while up at Sue's. Thought of you. It's perfect for the Moho...

Very pretty indeed.

Last night we had a cocktail before dinner at Encinal Yacht Club and met a guy from Florida that was here on business. He told us of the cold winter in Florida. He also told us that in Havana, Cuba that they had a record low of 39°. Global warming.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hug. :)

Looks to me like you have been pretty busy! I tend to think about solutions best just before I fall asleep and then darned if I don't forget what I thought of by morning! Ah, the joys of old age.

It was warmer here today than it has been but to me it felt quite cold for some reason, probably because I feel like I'm coming down with something; I've got that overall chilled and achy feeling. NOT what I need or have time for!

More tea!!

I do that, too. All of these wonderful ideas as I'm falling asleep and I get up and can't remember squat.
I like your bead work! I've been collecting beads and findings for ages. Now, I need to sit down and bead before I forget where I put everything!
~~~Blessings~~~
