The local TV channel reported 6" of rain earlier this morning, and it has steadily fallen since then. And this will continue all day. I'm ready to shut off that heavenly faucet!
So we made the decision to drive the 'toad' up for Mickey's service, then return back to WPB. The patio is not actually finished, I discovered. Merely another section was finished, and there was also a misunderstanding about the term "done," but I won't go into marital disharmony at this particular time, nor that right brain, left brain thing, bless his heart. Come to think of it, Left Brain seems to be enjoying this rain, parked over there on the couch reading a book!
He's definitely earned a day off.

You just have to keep telling yourself that the weather in Florida is better than the weather in Podunk. Well, try anyway.
Have a terrific day and weekend honey. We are off to the boat as usual. Big hugs. :)
Ciao Sandy...
I hope you have sunny again...here is sunny, cold!
My thought with you tomorrow!
Hugs!
yep, let left brain rest, he earned it. did i hear someone say it was getting dry here???????
six incehes of rain? My God that is a torrent!
Six inches, gadzooks! I hate to tell you but Sandee has it backwards today. Temp is close to 60 and not nearly that much rain here yet. In fact, we've had intermittent rain today - more "off" than "on". Except when I got back from lunch and it poured for about 5 minutes just as I got out of the car. Umbrella to the rescue.
Just take care not to wash off into the ocean with all that rain falling! And safe travels tomorrow. Hugs!
finally it stopped raining. we just had dinner with chuck and took him home and it's clearing up now. it was warmer when we got home than when we left!

Ah, pink and blue, left and right, right and wrong... At least your rain is not as cold as the rain we're getting. I think we've gotten that much too.
OK, what are you wearing tomorrow night and Sunday? (Be sure to tell Dad I asked, because I know he's concerned!)
It rained again here yesterday, but cleared about suppertime. Finally. And it is glorious today, just in time for the Azalea Festival!
Big hugs xo
