Sneaky girl, Missy...

Missy likes my fluffy scarf and tried to sneak off with it but I caught her! It looks entirely nice with her coloring, however I feel it is a bit too long, don't you agree?

Good afternoon from sunny south Florida where the overcast is now gone and gentle tropical breezes are flowing ever so nicely, not the gusty stuff we've been having almost all winter. This has been a cold, windy winter for sure.

I just read online that Lance Armstrong cracked his collarbone today in a pile up in Spain. Oh dear, that may knock him out of the Tour de France this year! Brian had that happen to him, and it is no picnic.

Dick took the jet ski over to Dan's place yesterday and got it all loaded up on Dan's trailer...to the detriment of Dick's back. But he'll get over it and the jet ski and Kubota will get delivered to Mayberry and Dick will be a happy camper.

We had lunch with Neal and Judie today, and will go over to dinner at Serge and Julie's place shortly to say our farewell to Wade and Ginger, who leave tomorrow for Carabelle. Our own departure is Friday, but there will be more on that later.

That is our Monday...Tuesday will be great, because we are meeting Bee and Charlie at John G's for a late breakfast. Life is good. Smile, y'all!!!

Yes, you need to make one that fits her better and then maybe she will let you have yours back.

It's been cold and windy all weekend here too and I'm ready for some warm weather. They give us a day or two and then it's back to cold.

So you are getting ready to go back to Mayberry huh. I'm sorry your winter wasn't as warm as you would have liked. Perhaps next year.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hug. :)

Do you think you could bring us takeout from John G's? Funny how you don't make it a one-day trip anymore. I guess w/o kids you really can enjoy the ride.

I think the fluffy scarf looks lovely on Missy!

Enjoy your breakfast with Bee and Sarge. Give each other hugs from me!

The scarf is definitely a bit long for Missy, otherwise it looks quite charming! And I must say, you have had a cool and windy winter but it has been downright COLD in Mayberry, even I (and you know I'm always warm) have been COLD this year! But this week has been gorgeous and all the daffodils, forsythia, and flowering trees are now in full bloom. Have a great week, we are glad you're coming home soon.
