So my flt to ATL gets cancelled due to a mechanical problem. I called Jennie for help. She and Joy picked me up as Dick was searching for rerouting out of Greenville. The gals dropped me off and here I sit, but I am going to WPB by way of LaGuardia. Last time I checked, that was still in NY. Am I having fun? NOT, but that is all part of traveling, so this is just another adventure. Come along for the ride! Life is good

Hopefully, you were able to get some shut eye during your wait. Have you started your plans for Myrtle Beach yet? It should be a neat adventure for you, don't ask me why, but it will be.
Enjoyed meeting you, my sista, and all our other sistas. Us, Norfolk gals, really had fun. I think that was the BEST convention I ever attended. Being just the right size where you actually meet your BEO sistas. Usually, there are so many people, so many schedule activities, that I am tired and need to recoup when I get home. Normally, I stay with my chapter whom I already know. Yes, they have meals with assigned seating to make us sit with other sistas, but, it usually feels awkward. What could beat the openess of The Hampton Inn Lounge; those comfortable chairs; beautiful window view and choice of seating. I hope I did not upset anyone by just joining in like I did.
