Day 2-3

Good morning from the Pacific Ocean, where we are cruising with about 2,300 passengers on calm seas, steadily moving our clocks back an hour a few times in order to get us on Honolulu time.

Food and service has been good. Our room steward is from Trinidad and is a sweetie. Our dinner table of six only had four of us the first night. Unfortunately, the lady is Chatty Cathy, if ya know what I mean. We opted for a quick dinner on Lido last night to partly avoid them. Tonight is elegant night, so hopefully we have a full and more interesting table...otherwise, we will probably change tables or dining times.

The piano bar guy has a cold, so he is admittedly not up to par in the voice department yet. There are several choices of live music onboard, so we have enjoyed a variety of musical entertainment. The ship is obviously one of Carnival's smaller ones, so it doesn't take long to do a walk about.

We are on a cruise...life is good, y'all! We adjust.

That's a long cruise to Hawaii, but most enjoyable. We passed a cargo ship and there was such excitement about that. It's amazing how much sky and water you see and at some points nothing else. No birds, no nothing it seemed.

I would avoid the Chatty Cathy too. We have one in our yacht club and she can grate on my very last nerve. Avoid, avoid and avoid.

Have a fabulous day honey. Big hugs. ♥♥♥

HI!?! Oh, yeah! I'll probably never get there so I'll eat this trip up! My cruise goals are to visit every island in the Caribbean. I'll probably not make that goal either but it will be fun trying, right? ;)

Sorry about Chatty Cathy. You'll make the best of it though. That's your style.

Funny about piano man. My last cruise my guy had a cold but I still enjoyed him. In fact I bought his CD and we're friends on Facebook. He just got married. To a singer. Go figure.

Have a lovely evening! xoxo

Good luck with the dinner plans! ;) Be sure to get some pictures. That expanse of blue seas and blue skies must be pretty impressive.
