It started with an ear ache Christmas Eve, then I woke up yesterday looking as if I had mumps on that bad ear side. Bugger. Don't even ask for a photo of that!
We arrived in WPB, and I immediately went to the nearby clinic. I have an infected salivary gland, in addition to an ear infection. Lucky me.
I am on drugs, so I will beat this. Meanwhile, I am beached on the couch...but grateful that it has been yearS since I've been sick. And grateful for my onboard care team. I have had several cat scans already this morning, but have to schedule a real CT one to rule out a salivary stone. Never heard of one; don't want one, thankyouverymuch.
Tomorrow will be a better day, ever the optimist!

Al has a nasty cold since Christmas Eve morning and I am fighting one with Zicam, especially hard since my sister Lynda is here this week. This afternoon is BWTB... It's become my annual BWTB now since Lynda goes with MotherDear. I'll make it through. ;)
