I can see clearly now...

Great success for Brian and LASIK eye surgery yesterday. Great relief for Mom to talk with him this morning! Nurse Faith took good care of him last night, waking him up for eye drops as prescribed. She's a keeper.

His eyes feel a little bit scratchy this morning, but he was able to drive himself back to the doc for his check up. Kudos to the surgical team!

So, the usual December stuff is going on around here--finishing up Christmas cards, Christmas online shopping, year-end tax (boring) stuff.

Tonight is our annual Beta Sigma Phi Christmas party, as well as the choral and band concert our sweet girls are in. Of course they are scheduled on the same night! Urrrggh. I need a clone!

Despite the cold, my two assistants wanted out this morning. They rewarded me by bringing in a little birdie that unfortunately got played with a little too much.

How's your day going?

Way to go on the surgery. Being able to see well is a wonderful thing.

It's cold here and we've a big storm coming tomorrow. High winds and heavy rains. We'll take it though.

Have a fabulous day honey. Big hugs to you and tons of scritches to the babies. ♥♥♥

Blogger has added that nasty word verification. I did NOT, would NOT do that. Haley had the same thing happen to her blog. Neither of us can get rid of it. NOT HAPPY!

So glad B is doing well and seeing well! Silly kitties, to play with that bird so much. :-) See you in a bit for the party tonight. If I had a clone, too, we'd both be in both places!

Your blog also goes to a commercial page for me about every second or third post. Aggravating, but it's hard to complain about free. And I do love The Google so I take the good with the aggravating.

Hooray for LASIK. Glad Brian did well!
I wish I could get it but I am farsighted. Bugger. Just had my eye exam yesterday. Another $500 thrown at my bad vision for the exam and new glasses which I have to wait 1-2 weeks to arrive. Nobody stocks my Rx. Too strong. Oh! And I have the very beginnings of cataracts. Can't wait for medicare to pay for a new lens so I can at least see SOMEthing without my glasses. Maybe in 5 or 6 years, if I'm lucky?

You're doing more Christmas parties in one day than I do in a year. :)

big hugs xoxo
