Wet and windy Tuesday

Fortunately the rain stopped for the annual fall parade Saturday (that we missed), however the kids left their nice band uniforms home to avoid ruining them.  That’s our Macey on drums…

Thanks to Auntie Joy for taking the photos for me.

High winds knocked down a bunch of tree limbs across the roads south of town, so I just read on FB.  Our fabulous road department is on it, and probably 10 Bubbas with chain saws are also out clearing driveways and roads as well.  Our guys are prepared!

MM got his truck loaded up and left for work already.  He has one final mowing/grinding job to get finished, and then he is done.  He is ready to retire again.  Sounds great to me, especially since we have another adventure on the horizon!

I have plenty to keep me occupied while MM is away today.  The camera is now on my deck (along with untouched mail), so I plan to download and sort through the NH/VT photos…and take care of paperwork (less exciting).

Wait…it’s raining.  A comfy chair, two kitties, a book, a cuppa coffee………oh man, how tempting!!!

Life is wet but good in Mayberry, y’all!

You are quite welcome, I was glad to have a good vantage point to see the girls march by! Yes, it was tempting to pull up the covers this morning and doze to the rhythm of the rain - but such was not to be for me. I saw one big tree down as I drove to work, on the east side of the county, but heard about several more. And I'm thankful it was no worse!

It appears that yesterday was the last day of summer here. It was 90 degrees. For the rest of this week into next week the temps are supposed to be in the high 70s. Now we're talking. About time. I would take some of that rain you're having though.

Have a fabulous day honey. Big hugs to you and tons of scritches to the babies that missed you something awful. ♥♥♥

Good thing about Bubbas are that they are all heart and love their Mommas. Glad there wasn't worse damage from the rain and storms.

I saw the festivities in B'ville on my facebook page. We had some of that wicked weather, too. Fortunately, we didn't get hit as bad as they predicted.

Hooray for boys and their toys!

Hope your day is fabulous! big hugs xoxo
