TBT–fathers

Mine…probably taken in mid-to-late ‘40s.

Grover Redding II

MM’s dad.  No doubt about where MM got his looks!

Don Bell

I love these old photos, but the sad thing is, all those who could tell us more details about when and where and what was going on way back then are all gone.  All gone.  There are sooo many questions I would like to ask of them, but they will remain unanswered, lost forever.

Hopefully our grandchildren and future great grandchildren will check out my silly little blog some day, and know a little bit of where they came from…and feel the love Grumps and I have for all of them.

Life is mighty GRAND here in our mountain paradise.

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but its getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

This is what is wonderful about technology (despite its drawbacks). Our grandchildren, great grandchildren etc will all be able to follow our stories through our blogs :-)

Thanks for sharing, writing, and recording. Those Bell genes are strong!

That's just what happens. We are surrounded by elders for years and years and then they start to leave us. I've a few aunts and uncles left. Very few.

Have a fabulous day honey. Big hugs to you and scritches to the babies. ♥♥♥

Love old photos. And old folks to respect. I just lost my favorite uncle last week. What's sad is that he and my aunt had divorced... twice... and he had remarried someone else and I had not seen him in years. Talked to him a few times on the phone, but still.

Keep on documenting!

big hugs xoxo

Not many elders left for me, either. Hopefully I can do a decent job of documenting things for my descendents!
