Wonderful Wednesday

KC warm floor

You want me to do what?  No way…I heard you tell Dad it was 34 outside.  This warm floor is MINE.  All mine.  Forget going outside.  Yawn…time for a nap.

No nap for me, even if I wanted one.  I have a stack of essays to read today to judge contestants for Woman of the Year and Chapter of the Year for an Atlanta BSP area council…along with my other half of Wonder Woman—Joy!  Fortunately, all the applicants will be nameless to us, because we probably know many of them personally, and we do not want our judging to be tainted in any   way.  Oy, wish us luck!  We’ve gotta get these back in the mail soon.

MM is diagnosing a problem he has with one of his big, mighty machines (read:  Expensive!).  Fortunately, he got it for a bargain price, because he is going to be spending a chunk of bucks getting it repaired.  He thinks he has narrowed down the problem, and is off to check part numbers.  And prices.  Ouch…but it’s gotta get fixed and back on the job.  Period.

So that life here in sunny, chilly paradise today.  And it is still good, watching the leaves erupt and fill out the tree branches.  I love spring…and want it back!  Brrr…

Happy smiles, y’all.  Let the judging begin!

For a pot of coffee and conversation Bill can help diagnose it for ya! You gotta love our handy guys. Imagine what things would be like had they not know how to fix things.

hugs from cloudy Washington State!

It's raining and cold here.

Hubby cannot fix things. He's talented in many other areas, but fixing things isn't in his cards. Glad you have MM and Jean has Bill. I'm sure MM will have it fixed in no time.

Have a terrific day honey and stay warm. We'll do the same here. Big hugs. :)

Logan said the repairs alone are job security... He'd forgotten how much "fun" running equipment (and fixing them) is! LOL

This IS spring weather - much more typical that what we had for most of March! It's been kind of mixed up this year but I'm sure it will be warm again soon enough. KC has a good idea, I'd love a nap, too. Not gonna happen for me today, either.

A chunk of bucks doesn't sound fun, but boy howdy, imagine what it would cost if someone else fixed it! Having a handyman around the house is very handy, indeed!

Have fun with your essays. I don't envy your position. I'd like to give everybody a prize!

I'm grateful the hots are gone, because my AC still has not shipped. May have to bite that extra $1,000 bullet soon. Bugger.

Big hugs xoxo
