Cell phone caper

cell-phone-clipart-picture

MM has loved Jason’s cast-off old flip phone.  It is water resistant (for those rides on the jet ski), is orange (easy to spot when it falls into grass), and is simple to use.  Until the charger thingy part won’t work.  Then, it is worthless!

No problem.  Friend Matt has (a discarded one) just like his damaged phone, and will give it to Dick.  Matt even delivered it to Jason and Amy’s house and put it on their kitchen counter.  What a friend!  Only problem was, we didn’t know it had been delivered.

Remember that is the very same home where two wee boys live?  Can you see where this is going?

MM  got the message that the phone was next door, so he went over to retrieve it.  Simple.  No way!  The cell phone was missing from the bag.  MM looked high; he looked low.  No phone.  HELP!

After much coaxing (bribing—whatever!) of two wee boys, Jason finally got Scooter to admit (after Scooter learned that he was NOT in trouble) that he took it in his pocket over to Sloan’s house…and left it there.  Doesn’t every 3 y/o need a cell phone in his pocket?!  We were just happy he remembered where he had left it!

Problem solved (until MM loses this one).

Don’t you just love a happy ending?  Smiles, y’all!

Happy Friday the 13th!!!

Al's still using my old, old, OLD Blackjack. The one I used for years and years and years before my first iPhone, which I used for 3 years. What I'm trying to say here is that it's OLD. He bought a cheap Go phone because he says the Blackjack is too complicated. But he hated that one worse, so he's back to the Blackjack. It has 2 rechargeable batteries, neither of which hold a charge long enough any more to make more than a few calls. Stubborn, he is.

MMen!

Yep I could see where this was going and I too love a happy ending.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs from cold, rainy and stormy California. :)

Chuckling here. It's amazing Scooter remembered where he left that phone! Water-resistant and orange are two great features in a phone for folks like MM. :-)
