Friday already?

P1010329

It was confirmed again last night just why I don’t like karaoke—most folks who get up and sing have more enthusiasm than talent.  Sheesh.

We had a rapid cold front move through West Palm yesterday.  I was out on an errand in 70 degree weather when the rain started.  Bam…rapidly the temps dropped to 58, and I was in shorts!  The thing about Florida is that if you wait just a short while, the weather is bound to change.  And so it has.  Today will be sunny all day, with slightly cooler temps.  Not too bad, since Joan called and said there was snow on the mountain back home.  I do not want any part of snow, thank you very much.

I have slacked off on sharing life’s laws and need to fix that.  Here is one you may not know about:

The Coffee Law - As soon as you sit down to a cup of hot coffee, your boss/spouse/child will ask you to do something which will last until the coffee is cold.

The end.

Cheers.  Have a great weekend, y’all!

I had a run-in with that coffee law just this morning. It's documented on my Facebook status. Time to try a 2nd cup!

Yes, COLD. We went to 50 degrees. Dislike!

Big hugs :]

Our deck is white from sleet, but school is in session. Ansley has her chorus competition in Cumming, so we're going to watch her perform and cheer her on at 1:00. Thankfully we're all well now.

Oh, that coffee law is sadly so very true! Thank goodness for microwaves.

snow up here in southwestern PA too. My coffee is cold, but then I wasn't really in the mood for coffee today. Don't know why...

make it a great day!

Grand Turk. What a great shot too. That's where we were last Friday. It was warm. It rained, but it was so warm.

Spot on about the coffee too.

Have a terrific day and weekend honey. Big hugs to you both. :)

It's raining, it's pouring up here in Connecticut but it's better than snow!

I'm trying to get back into the blogging thing but not exactly succeeding! And I finally got around to uploading my pictures to the computer and am now overwhelmed with over 1,110 of the darned things! One of these days I'll learn to lay off that shutter button!

It really was great to see you and Dick again even though I was not the most sociable of people during the course of the cruise. Lord only knows why but I was definitely out of sorts for some unknown reason.

Thank you once again for taking Barb and I down to the port with you and for all of your hospitality; I really did have a very nice time in spite of myself!

Yes, there was snow on my car this morning and a bit on my deck and the leaves in the yard. None on the roads, thank heavens! The tops of the mountains were beautifully white this afternoon. But I am ready for spring.
