Sunday, better late than never…

We could not get online in our new cg in the trees beside Phillips Lake, nor get TV reception.  We went off touring this morning, waiting for the Sunday folks to leave and go back home.  We had already chosen a site to move to that would be a little more open to the skies.

Well, the plan worked well, but it took FOREVER to get everything to work right, so we are just now getting online…and I am doing laundry.

Here are a couple more photos from the zip line adventure:Dick landing

See, the instructor is there at the end, giving us instructions (one is at the top of the run doing the same thing and hooking us up) and helping us land correctly.  And unhook us from the cable, and rehook us to small cables on the tree…safety always!IMGP0970

And in this photo, Dick is all harnessed up and holding the straps that connect to the trolley, that is placed on the zip line.  This holds all your weight, so it is like sitting in a hanging swing, and no, Linda, it did not hurt his back at all.  My arm was a little sore from holding the strap, but it was minor.  Easy peasy!

So now I’ll sort through today’s photos and post them tomorrow for viewing while we are on the road again.

That’s it, that’s all from the Griswolds today.  Hope your Sunday has been super!  Time to fix dinner…

Glad you had fun and glad you got back on the Internet. I hate it when you can't connect. I think I may be addicted.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hug. :)

I'm glad to hear that there was no back strain or pain involved - those must be some comfortable harnesses!

Most definitely a very cool adventure no matter how you look at it, though! Speaking of which, I am looking forward to seeing the video one of these days when you get it uploaded!
