Our booth…and it’s Friday the 13th!

IMGP1078

This is the display booth for our RV park here at the motorhome convention.   Of course this photo was taken just after we set up, when there were no folks around, except other exhibitors.  There are flyers on the table for the park, as well as local chamber of commerce info for our little town.  We had lots of nice folks stop by and visit yesterday (well, Dick did…I was off getting my hair cut and doing errands, then fixing dinner).

So that answers WHAT we are doing here at the convention.  Besides having fun.  And running into friends and family.

John and Jean have a Beaver motorhome (we’ve owned two, so Dick and John have had numerous ‘guy’ conversations over the years about that).  Each particular brand of motorhome has clubs…much like a Corvette clubs, Airstream clubs, etc., and there are even some motorhome clubs that are generic—you can join, no matter what brand you own.  They are all  a great way to meet kindred folks, and also provides  opportunities for guys to kick more tires.

So that explains what a Beaver motorhome group is.  They go out camping and eating and having fun together.

Friends Dave and Dorota came over for dinner last night.  Missy charmed them, and they are now convinced that their own tuxedo kitty is her long-lost brother!  We’ll have to set up a play date for them.

And tonight, we’ll get together with John and Jean for  dinner.  See, we have quite the social life, even out on the road.

Barb, I hope this unconfused you:)  I don’t want you to be lost.

Since this is Friday the 13th, do any of you have any phobias about this date?  Not me.  It’s just another great day in paradise.

Your booth looks great! Have fun with all your social endeavors.

The only phobia I have about Friday the 13th is that it is the first day of school! LOL

Aaaaahhhh! Now I understand! I went to your web site... the url has changed. It looks absolutely lovely. I'd be happy with the mountain view or the lake view!

I am not superstitious at all. It's just another Friday, and they are ALL good in my book!

Have a blast! Big hugs :)

Don't forget to add a big bowl of candy. It brings people over to see what you have. Usually it brings the kids, which means parents will follow. It works wonders! Good luck with the convention. Thanks for clarifying, I was confused to. Couldn't figure if you were attending, or vendoring!

Your booth looks great. If I hadn't known about Beaver mohos due to you having them in the past, I wouldn't have knows what a Beaver group is, either! Good explanations all around! I realized this morning that it is Friday the 13th, but it's just another Friday to me - we can blame anything that goes wrong today on Friday the 13th I guess.

Yep, the banner needs to be tweaked...and the candy bowl definitely goes out each day...and yes, a wee part of the trip is a business expense:)

I so understand what you are doing. We do the same thing expect we are on the water. It's indeed a lot of fun. Nothing better in my opinion. Well perhaps a cruise on a big ship, but you know what I mean.

I have always loved Friday the 13th. I have no phobias whatsoever. Fun days in my opinion.

Have a terrific time honey. Big hugs. :)

Sounds like you're having quite the time at quite the convention!

No problems with yesterday's Friday the 13th - at least not that I know of at any rate!

Hope you're having a wonderful Saturday!
