Friday was the final day for Vacation Bible School (a/k/a Mission Quest) for the girls. Haley and I took them over to church to purchase some of the craft items made this week...the funds will benefit various missions throughout the world. My friend Joy came in (she works at that church) and said to grab my camera and go look in the parking lot. Someone had a very bad day! The girls went over to check out the 'crime scene' and tried to figure out exactly what happened (the owner was born in October, lives in our county, maybe put the car in 'drive' instead of 'reverse' and hit the gas and jumped the curve. Hmm, what made that big gash on the bottom of the doors? Oh yes, the fire hydrant! Did the church van's tire get damaged? Uh oh!). And the adults thought "What idiot pulled in and blocked both vans? Heeere's your sign!

Love the way you wrote that up! Nobody was hurt as far as I know, the deputy got the car owner out of a meeting at the college cafeteria, and they wrote it all up, then a wrecker came for the van. I guess they found the owner of the truck, too, I couldn't see that from my office window! Not a good day for that van and its owner!
Hugs,
Joy
Oh, Dear! Someone's gonna have a hard time living that one down. I have a lovely divit that's the exact shape of a trailer hitch in my bumper... :sigh:
That is a good one. One time I got our car turned side ways in our garage..DONT ask me WHY or HOW..but I did..Sandy
fff, sideways in the garage? How big is your garage???? :-)
I'm glad to hear no ne was hurt... I think that beats our redneck campground neighbors drinking beer before 10am!
OY VEY!
I hate it when I have a day like that
