Sunday in London

It was recommended that we go to Spittlefield today for their Sunday market.

We ate a hearty breakfast at the hotel, then hiked over to the tube, figured out how to get there and took off, exiting at Liverpool station. The signs don't say "exit" here. They state "Way Out." That makes me smile. And the voice on the tube reminds us to "mind the gap" between the train and the platform. The Brits are very polite.

The market consisted of mostly (cheap) clothing, shoes, and junk jewelry. No crafts, musicians, or anything of interest, other than people and building watching. It didn't take us long to tour the vendors. Oh well.

We want to attend a service at Westminster Abbey, and will do that either tonight or tomorrow night. We are flexible.

MM wants to give his knees a rest before we take off again, so we are back at the hotel with our sandwiches for an indoor picnic. And a chance to check service times online.

Did I mention we are flexible? We are.

The weather is being kind to us. Sunshine and maybe up to 70 today. No rain!

Life is good.

Have yourselves a ginger peachy Sunday. We sure will. And we will mind our gap.

I'll mind my gap, too. I tried on my bathing suit as my cruise is now 4 days away... and there's a gap between the leg elastic and my leg. Not good. Or great... depending on your perspective. ;)

Have a fab day with those lovely Brits. I'll be manning the caulk gun and my trusty paint brush so you don't have to. big hugs xoxo

Enjoy your rest and I'm sure you'll get more fun things done before you head home. It's been fun going along with you.

I had to laugh at Barbs swimsuit comment. I think it's fabulous. Just leave the suit at home.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs. :)

Definitely mind the gap on on your way out (or in)! Enjoy the service at Westminster. I'm sure it will be beautiful.

Personally I would be happy just to have been to Liverpool, home of the Fab Four.
