Friday at sea

IMG_1203

Last day on the ship; last day for Microsoft classes.  Patti has been a great Techspert, and we have learned a lot.  We have each read many books, enjoyed lots of good musical entertainment, and the company of lots of nice people.

This morning brought rain, but now the sun is shining and the seas are still calm as we cruise toward Dover.

After dinner tonight we will pack our bags and be ready to get off the ship in time to catch our bus to London, by way of Leeds Castle and Canterbury Cathedral.  We have gotten good suggestions from our many Brit tablemates of things to see and places to visit during the next few days.  We may have to stay another week!  Just kidding.  It’s been a great trip, but we are both ready to be home, and ready to tackle the mountain of mail that will be waiting for us.

We will miss our room stewards, and the wait staff.  They have spoiled us very nicely, and will get good recommendations on the guest survey sheets.  That is very important to do, since that is one of the ways that the staff gets promotions.

Life is good, y’all!

I've had fun going with you too. I'm happy you both have had a great time. I knew you would.

Have a terrific sea day and your last night on board. You'll love sleeping in your own bed soon. Yes you will.

Big hugs from sunny California. ☺

Go find somewhere to have tea in London, and raise a cup for me! Looking forward to seeing you soon.

Ciao Sandy!

I note that you can totally enjoy the weeks you travel throught the wide world, but your home is the major appeal!

Have a great time in London!

The ast sea day... so sad. And yet the thought of home and your own bed is always lovely. Enjoy your last evening on board. And a few days in Londaon also sounds wonderful.

big hugs xoxo
