Olympic fever…

Olympic rings
We both have it, and are enjoying watching it on TV.  I wouldn’t want to be there in the crowds though.  It was fun back in ‘96 being in the middle of everything, but watching the games on TV is sooo much easier.  If we want to see a replay of a move, we just back it up and watch it again.  Easy peasy.

Friends Larry and Michelle lured us from the games yesterday and took us for a boat ride here on the lake.  Silly us for being inside on a beautiful summer day!  Duh…that’s what TIVO is for, right?!

So now it is Monday, blessed with another beautiful summer day, but work and laundry and broken equipment all loudly beckon and we have to be adults and git’er done.  Bugger.

But first…(you knew there would be one), I need to decide what’s for dinner and check my grocery list.

Did I mention that it is Monday?

Yep, it's Monday again. Lots to do here today too. Having a big dinner for my granddaughter on Wednesday. She turned 21 and that's a big deal.

Have a terrific day and I'll wait to see what was for dinner. Big hugs. :)

I can appreciate all of the hard work and talents of every athlete and trainor. Truly. However, I pretty much don't care about watching any of it, especially with all of the commercials. I understand the people putting on the event have to make money to televise it, but with today's technology there are so many other ways to do it without leaving the live action for sometimes what seems like much more commercial than show. A ticker, a picture in picture... I wouldn't mind that so much.

Enjoy your Monday (and Olympic Fever)! big hugs xoxo

I am a huge Olympics junkie! (which is why I volunteered back in 1996, which was lots of fun) And I don't have TIVO or a lake close by, so I stayed in the air conditioning yesterday afternoon and watched other people sweat. And as soon as I get home from work today, it will Olympics again for me. Fun, fun!

Ciao Sandy!

You can image how much TV G. is watching each day!
I watch some pieces...I'm awaiting for Jessica Rossi,20 years old, policeman(girl?), she won gold medal in Pekin on clay pigeon(skeet) shooting.
Her parents work in a farm close to my sister Anna's farm, so we know her very good...medal or no medal on that day in the farm is a great feast!
So, remember Jessica, a brunette, very nice!

Big hugs!
