It’s Friday in Paradise…

And my inbox is full…and not just with papers!  My helpers are so (un)helpful.  Gotta love’em!

Raise your hand if you are excited about the Olympics!  I am, especially since Joy and I were volunteers at the ATL Olympics back in ‘96.  Man, was that a long time ago!  I also had the honor of being one of the torch bearers here in our mountain county when the torch came through en route to Atlanta.  Good memories.  I never did finish that scrapbook…and it won’t happen (again) right now with that pesky cruise coming up pretty soon.

This has already been a “but first”morning.  You know, you start one thing, then “but first” need to do this one other thing…that leads to three more.  Oh yes, I am Queen of But Firsts, which is why there was no post first thing this morning.  MM was one of those interruptions, needing some tax (boring) stuff.  Done.  Check.

And now the wait is on for the computer geek to arrive and tweak our house networking that is not doing its job so all the computers can communicate.  Looking forward adding that particular CHECK.

It’s just another Friday here at the ole fun factory.  Have yourself a whole bunch of smiles today, y’all!

I can do the 'but first' too. I do too.

Hope you get the home system running like it's supposed too.

That pesky cruise? Bwahahahahaha. You know you are excited and then some.

Have a terrific day honey. We are off to the boat this afternoon and will return on Sunday. Big hugs and scritches to your babies. :)

Love those furry helpers! You know I am excited about watching the Olympics. Thought about wearing my "Olympic Volunteer" shirt today but it is packed somewhere and I was too busy watching the coverage from London on the Today Show to think soon enough about finding it! We had fun in '96 and I ALWAYS love watching the Olympics, summer or winter. (But summer is my favorite.)

I hold court with that "but first" thing, too! It's crazy!

it's a chilly morning here in the PNW. Sending those shiver vibes your way...

Awww... sweet cuddly kitties. Helpful... yes, of course they are. How well I know.

I tried networking my Mac and my PC but they won't play nice. At all. Surprise. Not.

I was just telling someone I hadn't watched the Olympics in many years and I do believe the last time was when they were in Atlanta. Actually, Al & I had the very great misfortune to have a business trip in Marietta. We were in the thick of the traffic when it suddenly dawned on us WHY the traffic was so much worse than its usual horrible. Oy.

Hope your day has plenty of YAY! big hugs xoxo

Gee, sorry to hear about that pesky cruise of yours! I'd feel for ya but my arms can't reach! Right now I would love to have a nice long and relaxing cruise with nothing on the agenda to look forward to as I'm just darn near plum-wore out lately. Maybe I need to start taking vitamins??

Knowing me, I won't watch any of the Olympics unless it's on at work. I do enjoy watching gymnastics once in awhile but dang it makes my hands sweaty when they're doing some of those things!

Hope your inbox has been cleaned out a bit!
