Happy Halloween, y'all!

And don't forget to *fall back* your clocks tonight (and change the batteries in your smoke alarms). End of public service announcement.

Halloween (also spelled Hallowe’en) is an annual holiday celebrated on October 31. It has roots in the Celtic festival of Samhain and the Christian holiday of All Saints. It is largely a secular celebration, but some have expressed strong feelings about perceived religious overtones.
The colors black and orange have become associated with the celebrations, perhaps because of the darkness of night and the color of fire or of pumpkins, and maybe because of the vivid contrast this presents for merchandising. Another association is with the jack-o’-lantern. Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, wearing costumes and attending costume parties, ghost tours, bonfires, visiting haunted attractions, pranks, telling scary stories, and watching horror films.

Government logic!
However you celebrate All Hallows Eve, make it a safe and sweet occasion!

I had a student years ago who couldn't celebrate Halloween because his parents believed that is was the Satan's birthday. I've never heard that one before or since.

I just always enjoyed the chance to play dress up and get CANDY!!!!!

That's one smart indian! bwahahaha! I am not a fan of Daylight savings. It takes me at least 2 weeks to get back in sync.

I'm a fan of any holiday that involves me getting to eat chocolate. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!

Big Hugs ♥xo
