Saturday in Mayberry

It is overcast in Mayberry, as you can see.

Do you see the red popping out on some of the leaves? Yes, peaches, fall is around the corner...and it will be very welcome.

Did you notice that the hammock holder is still empty? MM has been too busy to laze around, plus being away traveling, so it never got installed this summer. And now something broke on his machine yesterday. So...hammock stays stored.

I think I have all the rosters and everything else ready for our RV park annual meeting today. MM and I will go to the park after lunch and get the pavilion all set up, then pick up the main course: fried chicken from a local restaurant, and it is not from the Colonel. Yum. Everyone else brings a side dish to share...and it is always good.

Sun is forecast for soon, and we are hopeful, but so are afternoon showers. Bugger to the showers.

If life hands you lemons, make some lemonade. I will. And all will be well in our world.

I need to check my list again.

I'll take those showers that you don't want. We are so very dry here. So very dry.

Have a fabulous day honey. Granddaughter and her honey Andrew are here for the weekend so we are happy about that. Big hugs to you and tons of stritches to the babies. :)

I hope it didn't rain on the meeting, I enjoyed seeing all the cloud formations this afternoon. And yes, I'm ready for fall weather.
