One more sleep

packed bags

This is the anticipated line up that will leave here in the morning, except that black (winter) purse on the L will instead be a beige one.  But I will stick the beige bag inside a black bag that will be my carry on to hold the iPad and a jacket.

Since we will be in cold climates, we needed the larger suitcase to hold the bulky stuff.  Bugger.  Maybe we can pare it down.  We’ll try.

I got my desk as cleaned off as it gets…no small feat…laundry done, and several things checked off the list already.  Today, everything else will be finished so that we are ready to roll.  For the very first time, I am not taking a stack of paperback books on this trip.  My iPad is loaded with books (and my bag has chargers to keep it running!).  This feels strange.  Very strange.  Almost naked strange, but I’ll adjust.

Life is a highway…and we’re gonna ride.  Hop on, y’all!

Ha! I also took no actual printed books on my cruise but I had downloaded several books to the Kindle on my iPad before I left. It worked marvelously well!

Do you have a car charger for your iPad and iPhone?

It's exciting! One more sleep! big hugs xoxo

Ciao Sandy!

I see you are very good organized!
I read no books, only newspapers or much internet work, so I've no time to read a novel!
I just work so much with photos, that I've no wish to to do other activities: kitchen, short trips, posts!

Have a lovely Tuesday!

Big hugs!!!

Books on the iPad are a great choice for traveling. I still like to hold a book in my hand - but the last 3 books I've read were on my iPad, just because I can! (and I figured out how to delete them after I read them, too!) Enjoy, enjoy!

I'm hopped on and ready to roll. I'll be in Indiana most of your trip and won't be on the Internet much, but I'll check in when I can.

Have a fabulous time. Big hugs. :)

e-Readers and Tablets are great at minimizing physical space. I love my Kindle, especially while traveling.
