Exiting Yellowstone NP

We enjoyed our brief visit in Jackson Hole, then headed straight to Yellowstone. It was again 30 last night. There was lots of snow in S Yellowstone. Lakes were still frozen!

Spotting this herd of about 100 bison, we pulled off for photos. We enjoyed watching the adults get the calves to cross the river. Our kids will remark that bison are a part of our American heritage. We did see some wallering in the dirt.

Once again we are N bound, heading to Canada by way of Glacier NP first. We do need to stop and buy a new battery for each Moho first.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers!

Hugs from the road...

Hugs from home! It was great to talk to you this afternoon- or morning depending on where you are. ;) Happy Mother's Day to the best mom on the planet! We love you and we miss you! Happy trails! (OK that's maybe too many exclamation marks, but I mean them all. XO)

Welcome to Canada! Too bad you are so far west - too far for us to meet up - only about 2000 miles!!
I'm following along on your road trip.

hahaha! I'm wondering if some of those bison and baby bison are some of the ones my cousin saw there earlier this week!

New batteries for each Moho? Is it normal to have a backup because of the extreme cold and remoteness of Alaska or are they just plain old worn out.?Inquiring minds...

big hugs from smokey south jawjah. xoxo
