Monkey Man

Only because someone called on the phone for Dick did I discover that my idiot of a hubby was up on the freaking roof!

Mr. No Fear was taking down a scaffolding that has monkey manbeen up for what? three years or more???  This is the man with two bad knees who is also TOO OLD to be up climbing on any roof anywhere!  Sheesh.

I have told him many times that if  he kills himself doing something stupid, he is NOT gonna Rest In Peace because I will be too mad at him.  So there.  (I did stay outside until he was safely down.)

Time to check my list:

Fried chicken is ordered for the RV meeting tomorrow.  Check.

Roster is copying, then will be stapled.  Check.

Baskets, serving/eating utensils.  Check

Plates, cups.  Check.

Agenda.  Oops, not finished…but it will be.

Let’s see now…Haley’s scrapbook open house tonight, RV meeting Saturday, Haley’s card class on Sunday afternoon.

That’s about it for our weekend.  How’s yours looking?

He has to rest on the hammok and ...read a book!
How long can er rest...before er invents other projects?
He is no TV-diwan-man. I bet!!!
Have a happy week end...from your "projects" I see you are a ...WW!!!
Smile!!!
Big hugs!!!

It's a good thing he's handy! My DH likes to get on the roof to check the gutters when it's raining. Drives me crazy! There will be no RIP for either of them if they're not careful!

Ladders are evil and must be avoided! NO LADDERS was at the top of the list of my demands when I turned over temporary custody of my parents to my sister and bil. NO CHAIN SAWS was 2nd. So far, so good.

I'm hoping for a restful weekend as my week has been rather full and tiring.

Have yourself a lovely day. Big hugs xoxo

I can so relate to the roof thing. Zane doesn't go on the roof anymore. We bot agree that it's not a wise thing. You tell him honey. I'm with you on this one.

We are off to the boat. We have a function tomorrow afternoon with another yacht club. Big feed and lots of fun. We go every year. So we are just going to enjoy our weekend boating style.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hug to you both. My best to Missy. :)

Dick says;
Sandee, be careful walking around the deck of your boat, you might slip and fall... OH, better sell the boat for fear of slipping.
Haley, I did clean the gutters while I was up there saving another trip up the ladder. Yes I've cleaned them in the rain too.
Barb, I have two chain saws that run and several that do not. Used the sharp one this week to do some finish carpentry work.
Ivana, I have a lot of respect, especially for the chain saws. I often read your comments and your English is very good.
Thanks y'all for being concerned. I am more careful about what I do in my old age...MM

Glad that he got down safely, Sandy! And now the scaffolding is down too - one less item on the to-do list:)

Hope the RV meeting goes well on Saturday - may I have a piece of fried chicken please?

I'm having dinner with my parents tomorrow - and then going to a Rogers&Hammerstein event at the Walt Disney Concert Hall on Sunday:)
