Girls rule!

marbles for 4

Dan and Joan are back from their FABulous moho trip to Alaska and other parts of this beautiful country (and Canada).  They came over last night and we played a couple of rounds of our marbles game after enjoying some good Alaskan halibut.

We girls kicked butt twice…so the guys caved in and quit.  Wimps. Weanies.  Yes, they were.  Girls rock!  At least this time.  I am sure they will issue a challenge!

This board has two sides, one for 4 players, the other for 6, and is played with two decks of cards that are distributed to each player in a certain rotation, depending on the number of players.  The value of the card is what advances your marbles.  Pretty cool game, with lots of tricks to it!  But it is easy to learn.  Srsly.

Do you have a favorite board game?

Ciao Sandy!!

Glad that your evening was so lovely and funny!
We don't play cards or other games, or very rarely!!!
Have a great Wednesday!!!
Here a bit less hot, I cannot say "cooler", as it's hot, not so humid!!!

Big hugs!!!

My favorite board game is Life. I always wanted the Art Linkletter dollar bills. LOL!

I wonder if the money still has Art Linkletter on it? Seeing how folks don't know who he is nowadays. Wonder who they'd put on it now?

Food for thought.

Yay Girls!

I'm not much of a board game player but I do love playing lots of card games... Texas Hold-Em Poker, Hearts, Spades and Wist.

Big hugs xoxo

I used to love to play Uno, but haven't in years. I know it's not a board game, but it's a game.

Girls rule indeed. I like the sound of that.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs from sunny California. :)

just read the frog joke and had a good laugh...card games are not very popular in our area of the bootshaped peninsula. If we lived in Venice we're be playing 'borac' or some similar name....hugs from the WEST PORTICO P
