Ding dong

Note to self:

Make sure the 5:15 beeping phone reminder is set for PM, Cautioning rabbitrather than AM.  Big difference.  Followed by an incoming junk fax 30 minutes later, both interruptions made for a very early morning for the of us.  Bugger.  We are awake and up.

There are plenty of things that need doing, of course, with 30 or so folks coming here Sunday afternoon.  But those preparations are not appealing at this hour.  I am awake, but not inclined to function.  Yet.  I don’t do mornings.

Did I ever mention that?

So, chores can wait.  Dick has his coffee and is surfing on his computer.  Missy is sleeping on the floor between us.  I have my cuppa, see just a wee bit of pink beginning in the morning sky, hear the birds calling to each other, and think that now would be a good time to go visit all my fave blog buddies.

Maybe this getting up early isn’t so bad after all.  Naw, I don’t want to make a habit of that!

Have a fabulous day.  Life is good, y’all!

Well, I DO do mornings and can't imagine anything else. If I wake up and it is actually daylight in my bedroom it kinda sorta freaks me out. :D

Honestly, I have not even owned an alarm clock in at least 30 years.

30 or so folks sounds fun! Except for the chores part. Big hugs xoxo

Oooh, a fun family celebration! Yippeee! That means food and fun! I usually get up @5:30 with hubby and ease myself into the day. Not so bad.

Ouch, so sorry your day started so early! You know I am a morning person but my definition of "morning" is 7 AM or later. Anything before that is still night!
I'm so lucky to be part of that "30 or so" who will gather at Sandy's home on Sunday evening. I'm looking forward to it!

I used to do mornings because I had to be at work at 6:00 a.m.!

Now my idea of morning keeps getting later and later - my empathy at being awakened so early!

I don't do mornings either and at this late stage of life, I don't think that I ever will!

Sounds like you've got a lot to do as well as a lot to look forward to. I, on the other hand, don't have such a good Sunday to look forward to if the forecasters are anywhere even close to being correct! Can I come to your house instead?!?

Oh a big party. If I were closer we could come over and help. Hubby and I are good at keeping things looking neat and orderly. Must have been all those big parties we've done.

Sorry you got up so early. I just hate that. Sleeping in is a wonderful thing. My last few years of working it was up and out of the house early and come back late.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs from hot California. :)

If you didn't get in a nap then maybe you can go to bed early. I must have heard you up because I woke up around 5:15 this morning too. (That at least beats yesterday's 4:30!)

Sounds like you saw my kind of morning. I have to get back into the swing of things. Since our big weekend I have been sleeping in an extra hour or so. I have to get back to my 5am wake up!!!
