Roasting marshmallows outdoors. Remember when? That is a fond childhood memory of mine. Doodlebug had fun last night learning the tradition down at the fire pit by the lake. He is also learning about safety and the dangers around fires.
We’re going back for another session tonight, and adding just a few more kids to the mix…and some hot dogs and some baked beans. Come join us! The weather has cooled off and the fire will be hot. Happy Sunday, y’all!

The girls are still mad that they had to leave before the s'mores! Life was simpler before school schedules dictated our evenings. LOL

I love a fire by the lake! My sister just sold her house on the lake in Maine about a year ago so I don't know when I'll get to enjoy that again.
