This afternoon is our official gathering of Beta Sigma Phi sistas to kick off Beginning Day, after the somewhat hiatus of summer meetings. We are each bringing a dish to share, with the club furnishing the ham. Our guys are always invited to this, so there will be much merriment and food galore. Can't beat that! I'm looking forward to seeing these important women in my life. The guys aren't half bad either.
This always means that summer is coming to and end, and that is OK. I'm ready for some cool weather. Our leaves are beginning to turn colors, so I know fall is just around the corner. Bring it on, baby!
Our annual sibling gathering is just around the corner, too. That's another thing to look forward to...in about 10 days. Stay tuned...

Whatcha making to bring?! I wish it was feeling fallish here. I'm really tired of hot and humid.
I'm tired of being hot, too, so I'm welcoming a little taste of fall weather. And I'm looking forward to seeing my friends this afternoon at Beginning Day, too. I can't remember what I signed up to bring - was it salad, was it dessert? So I'm taking fruit salad, it can go either way!
I am taking my super duper good coleslaw, only b/c I wrote it down, since I am also in charge of bringing ice for everyone! Joy, your fruit salad sounds great as a dessert.
