Frosty Monday!

Yes, Peaches, that white on the shoreline is ice crystals, as in it is freaking 22 and *cold* outside! Brrr...warming up to 49 later. I will definitely be grateful for 49!

Two kitties thought they wanted to go outside just now...until I opened the door and the cold air blasted them. No thanks, Mom. We'll wait awhile. Smart kitties.

So, I played BettydamnCrocker yesterday, and made pumpkin spice cupcakes and Christmas "crack."

What is that, you ask? Saltines, drenched in melted brown sugar and butter, then topped with chocolate chips that promptly melt, then you cool and break them up into bite sized pieces. The kids get to sample them tonight. And sister Nan! Woohoo!!! I'm excited about her visit.

This morning I'm especially grateful for my morning coffee, fleece snuggle, and patio doors that let me view the morning coldness from my warm spot on our comfy couch.

Life is good, y'all! Stay warm and snuggle up today. Nan, safe travels.

BettydamnCrocker. I laughed out loud. I can hear you thinking that as you were doing all that baking. Sounds mighty yummy though.

It is cold there. We are on the back of our boat with the heater on. It a beautiful sunny morning here, but it's cold. Not as cold as you are, but still cold.

Your babies are smart.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs to you and tons of scritches to the babies. ♥♥♥

Oh, my friend Peggy makes Christmas Crack! It's good but Me? I'd rather have some chocolate, tyvm. :)

I bought a Mrs. Smith frozen pumpkin pie and a Mrs. Smith frozen apple pie. Nobody ever has room for pie so I'm not going to all the trouble of making them from scratch this year. I will however stick 'em in the oven and not feel so bad about throwing them away though. haha!

Stay warm! We're not THAT cold but cold enough that we're ready for this cold snap to be gone. big hugs xoxo

Sorry for being so late Sandy. I've been having a lot of things going on around my place. Please forgive me and I'll try to get back as soon as I can. Ice crystals, we had a lot of snow. Michigan even had 16 inches of snow in some areas. Winter is really here.
Have a great day my friend. See ya.
