Ole Charlie still has it together...the band sounds good, has a good time in the process, and all are patriots, loving this country! They rock!!!
Dick and I both listen mainly to current country music, as opposed to the twangy stuff my parents listened to and I hated as a kid. Funny how that works. That same cycle happened with our kids, and now they all like current country, too. Actually, we like most any music except for that rap crap. So, tell me what your favorite genre of music is, OK? Let's see how many respond. You gotta do it.......go ahead.......it'll only take a minute! Have a great Sunday.

I love his politics too honey. How fun. I would love to see him live. Have a great Sunday. Big hug. :)
Ok, I'll respond but I'd be hard picked to tell you my favorite genre' of music - pretty much anything but rap and "heavy metal" is fine with me - jazz, country, bluegrass, classical, opera...I love it all!
Glad you enjoyed the CDB! Hugs...
CDB rocks. Love his brand of country!
I love all sorts of music - no rap crap! If I had to pick only one... no, I just couldn't. I love Doo Wop and I love a great Symphony and a delicious Tenor - and lots of stuff in between.
My first concert was the Monkees. I've also seen Kenny Rogers, Roger Whittaker, Itzhak Perlman, Yo Yo Ma, The Irish Tenors, The Drifters, Sha Na Na and many others. The weekend before our divorce was final my soon-to-be-Ex took me to a Pavarotti concert. You get the idea, very ecclectic.
Hi from Montana, of course I like country, but not the twangy stuff. Don't care for hip hop or whatever it's called and really detest rap. Love almost everything else.
I don't go for the "rap crap" either but can tolerate most anything else. My two fave stations right now play country and 70s/80s rock.
My first concert was the Beach Boys- Mom & Dad took us to 6 Flags so we could all see them! When was that?
Nice to meet Susan! We love Montana:-)
Haley, it was about 1982 when we were at 6 Flags for the Beach Boys concert. We still like them, and Jimmy Buffet...the music from the '60s. Lots of good stuff from way back then.
Thanks to everyone who responded!
That reminded me that I saw Charlie Daniels at Hiawassee fairground with my parents about a million years ago (ok, maybe it was just around 20 yrs). Great fun. Hadn't listened to country music lately at all til your son re-introduced me to some current stuff (Brad Paisley) so now I must admit I like it again - Maybe I can spread it across Europe now :)
