Croquet is a lawn game, played both as a recreational pastime and as a competitive sport.
Today, MM and I will be doing some recreational playing. We don’t know enough about it to even consider that competitive part! And we’ll enjoy the folks and the dinner afterward.
Who knew there are about 200 clubs across the country? Many colleges have croquet clubs. This is a game played all around the world.
We’ll have fun. And the weather is fantastic today.
Sunscreen? Check.
My heart goes out to friend Barb in the loss of her dear Whitey boy yesterday. He was one brave kitty, who was lucky to have himself such a loving and caring mama. Hugs!
Do something to put a smile on another face today. Everyone wins with that combination!
Life is good, y’all!

We use to play croquet when we were kids. My parents absolutely refused to by us an iPod or a DVR. Big Meanies that they are. We were forced to play outside. :)

I've never played, but I've watched a game or two. Looked like fun and I'm sure you two will have a ball.
Yes on our baby Whitey. Broke my heart too. Hugs and love to Barb.
Have a terrific day and enjoy that weather. Big hugs honey. :)
Willy used to play croquet when he was a young Hillbilly. Have not played in years.
Have fun.
10-4 Willy
we played croquet as kids, too... plus we chased each other around with the mallets...LOL
We used to have a set in the garage (heck probably still there!) never knew how to play though.
Gosh, I haven't played croquet in years and years! We used to have a set in the side yard and I loved playing and the sound of the wooden balls against the wooden mallet. Such fun memories!
Hope that you had a lovely Saturday and that there weren't TOO many sticky wickets!
