We had a successful day shopping yesterday. I found some Christmas gifts, 2 pairs of shoes that we shall keep quiet about, and some necessities--I needed coffee and rice--and a nice lunch at the Olive Garden. Happy shoppers, we were!
I am watching KC out on the deck railing as he is rubbing his chin along the wood, twisting and turning. If that boy doesn't fall off, it will be a miracle, but I have warned him to be careful and to at least try and fall onto the deck rather than the ground...greater distance to the ground! That boy does not listen to his mother to stay off the railing in the first place!
OK, he had enough of that and is curling in a chair. Whew. Disaster averted. Kids!
So who has Labor Day plans? We are going to a couple of cook outs, and then fall will officially be launched.

We've had a very cool summer here and the leaves are changing here too. I'm wearing long pants, a jacket, socks and shoes. It's cold.

The only color we have here is green. Bugger. I love fall, and especially miss my New England Falls. *sigh*
No Labor Day plans. I'm pretty sure we'll grill something, weather permitting.

We've noticed a bit of a nip a few mornings and evenings lately, though it's still hard to believe that September is here.

Well it doesn't feel cool here today but the calendar says it is Sept and I cling to the hope that cooler weather is coming! I did go to the Farmer's Mkt this morning and to the Kiwanis yard sale before it got too hot! Don't plan to go back out today. See you tomorrow!
I was going to a cookout today, but it was canceled so I opted to stay home and get some housework done. Tonight S.D. and I are going to roast hotdogs on the charcoal grill then possibly make s'mores!
