Joan, Carey, and I are heading to Helen and tubing with the kiddos this morning, at least that is Plan A…if the weather cooperates.
Plan B? Back here to enjoy the lake…in between rain showers. I do see some blue patches of sky now, so we will hopefully have some happy, water-logged kids.
I will see if my new waterproof phone holder works. (No phone inside, silly. This is a trial run…um, float.).
Happy Friday the 13th, y’all. Go out and have some fun! We sure will. Come on, sunshine!!!

I love floating in a tube! Disney has a water park called Typhoon Lagoon and I use to float in my tube in the Lazy River all.day.long. It's not in full sun and has stops along the way to pop out for a cool drink or perhaps bathroom break. That's my idea of fun in the dappled sun!
Have a blast! big hugs xoxo
Oh... and what the heck does Shoot the Hooch mean?
Ciao Sandy!
I hope you all realize the plans!
We have pizza dinner in the garden with the kids, at their home... today a bit cooler!
Have fun wih the girls and the kids!
Big hugs!
Barb, it's the Chattahoochee River they'll be tubing, affectionately known around north Georgia as the "Hootch". Unfortunately some of the 60% chance of rain was falling on me as I left for work this morning. But it's a river, they're going to get wet anyway, right? Or, on to Plan B.
Sure wish I was closer because I'd beg to go with you. It does sound like great fun.
Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs. :)
Shooting the Chattahoochie? I remember during our travels to Helen seeing how awesomely fun (and cool) the folks just lazily tubing down the river look. Always made me want to jump in as well.
But alas, I see plan B is in action, which is fun, too!
Sounds like you have a fun day ahead of you.

I'm glad Joy explained that for Barb as I always thought that "Hooch" was a term for booze so I was a little puzzled wondering if you were going to be doing shots while tubing! I suspect that could make for an interesting afternoon but probably not something you'd do with the wee ones!
Hope you had a great day no matter which Plan you ended up going with!
