The leader of the kiddie bike parade and future Tour de Mayberry candidate! Little bro would also be riding, but he go in trouble at school yesterday and can't participate. Actions do have consequences, and kids need to learn that early in life.
Welcome to the real world, kiddos! Life is not a dress rehearsal, y'all!

Hello, Biker Boy! You're doing a fine job!
Can you come explain that concept to my sisterdear Janice? I've been doing my best to convince her that yes, even her special needs son needs consequences in order to learn the lesson - which btw he is completely capable of learning! I suggested she deal in whatever his currency du jour happens to be. If his currency today happens to be computer time, take it away. If it's the skating rink, no skating today. This isn't complicated stuff. Oy.
He's almost 13 and is already much taller and stronger than she is and he is prone to throwing some mighty respectable tantrums. Scary stuff.
Have yourself a lovely day. I've got a lot of not much planned for this weekend. :) Big hugs xoxo
Yes life has consequences and it's good to learn that early instead of having to learn that when one gets their first job. Parents need to raise their children to be ready to face adulthood. It's not that hard to do.
Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs. :)
Was there anyone else in the parade? We hated to miss it (and hate this cold even more). Teach 'em young so they don't have to learn it the hard way later.
great advice! it will make them better adults too...
