We are family…

Dick, Don, Carolyn
Celebrate good times, come on!  Yep, that song is currently playing on my computer, and it also sums up our weekend very nicely.

MM’s sister Carolyn and DH Don spent Friday night with us, so of course all the kids came over and we had lots of food, fun, laughter…with a whole bunch of family craziness also thrown in for good measure:
Ansley, Madison
As well as a little bit of laziness…after such a great dinner (thanks to my girls for their meal contributions…and MM for being the grill master):
Madison, Faith, Brian, Will
Sandy, Haley, Ansley
Don and Carolyn left Saturday after a local tour of projects, then Sunday was another busy day with two very special church services—bishop’s visit in the morning, and a (new, awesome) organ dedication and recital in the afternoon.  The recital was performed by a young, world renowned organist (lucky us!), who literally rocked the rafters with passionate sounds and enthusiasm.  Man, was he good.  One song was performed using only his FEET.  It was NOT a boring program at all.  Even MM liked it, which is high praise indeed.

So now it is Monday, and the guest room is ready for the next whoever that shows up around here.  We can always whip up  a little something, and are always ready to show off our mountain paradise.  And kids.  They get included a lot…because they are so dang much fun.  And they will even share their dress-up clothes!

Celebrate good times, come on…any time!

What song or lyrics sum up your weekend?

Celebrate good times, come on sounds great for me but my weekend was like Luke Bryan's " That's My Kind Of Night " if you know what I mean. Ha,ha,ha.

Have a great Monday Sandy. See ya.

Sounds like a great time was had by all! If I had to choose a song right now it would be a Billy Joel tune... Scenes from an Italian Restaurant.

♪♫♪ A bottle of red, a bottle of white
It all depends upon your appetite
I'll meet you any time you want
In our Italian Restaurant ♪♫♪

Because it's almost Wine:30 on my world plus my mother told me she made a farewell pan of lasagna that I won't be having any of on account of I am not there. Bugger.

Yup, their 2 month vacaion ends this week and Saturday will find us in Jax at a restaurant we all enjoy on the airirt Service Road right after they and we collect the mountain which is MotherDear's luggage.

Have yourself a lovely day in the mountains! xoxo

Sounds like an awesome weekend. Kicking back watching hubby's plane fly to Central America and reading a book.

I know you enjoyed seeing Carolyn and Don. My weekend song would have to go "Cough, cough, sniff, sniff, where's my cough drop? where's my Kleenex? Is it nap time?" But next weekend will be better. I'm sure of it!
